JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION: Reviews menus and works on customer orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared. Prepares, seasons and cooks food. Carves portions of meat, fish or fowl for individual servings. May plan menus and estimate required food quantities, labor and overhead costs. May coordinate food storage and maintenance of kitchen and storage facilities.
