We have an immediate (on-site)Network Administratorposition availableinColumbia, SC.If you join our team in this role, you will provide operational support for our government client by managing and monitoring the critical IT infrastructure in a Network Operations Center environment. You must also bewilling to work nights, days, and/or weekends/holidays.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform primary steady-state administration and monitoring of enterprise management systems.
- Install and managesystem security patches,hardware and software upgrades, data storage/replication/retrieval, backup job creation/modification/verification, system optimizations.
- Support steady-state enterprise-wide SCCM deployments.
- Monitor, support, and utilize enterprise management applications and tools such as, but not limited to: HP SIM, SolarWinds, CommVault, vCenter, NICE Vision Control Net, EVOIP Nagios monitoring, SCCM, SCSM, SCOM, Splunk, Cisco PRIME, Dell OpenManage Essentials, customized SharePoint sites.
- Provide steady-state support for an enterprise-wide Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.
- Manage AD/DC components, such as DNS, Organizational Units, AD Sites and subnets, GPOs, ACLs, accounts/passwords, create accounts, disable accounts, delete accounts, add DC Groups, and perform system backup/recovery operations.
- Perform secondary administration providing steady-state monitoring of systems, access control, hardware installations, wiring/cabling support, equipment rack re-locations, power source support, backup media rotations, etc.
- Installations/upgrades, OS configurations, problem resolution, and system administration or recovery with the direct guidance of the remote staff.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Thorough understanding of enterprise-level server softwareincluding the latest Microsoft Server technologies.
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related IT field (OR)
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification; (OR)
- 4 years of experience in Windows Active Directory, network, and IT hardware support in an enterprise or multi-site IT environment.
Clearance: Must have/be able to obtain a Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top-Secret clearance.
