Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented AP Specialist to join a well-respected and accomplished organization in Colorado Springs. Our client is looking for an AP Specialist who can upload and process more than 200 invoices weekly. Your duties will include coding invoices to the proper GL account and routing them for approvals. Furthermore, you will be responsible for uploading subcontractor invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is received. Your keen eye for detail will be used to test invoices for mathematical accuracy and review invoice coding for reasonableness. Part of your role will also involve ensuring that backup documentation for all transactions is adequate. You will oversee reviewing all invoices prior to final posting to guarantee the accuracy of the data.

As a go-to person, you'll handle inquiries related to supplier invoices and materials and equipment job cost charges. Vendor statement reconciliations will be part of your regular duties, as will scanning checks into the system and attaching them to payments. Your responsibilities will also encompass uploading and processing credit card statements monthly and processing weekly vendor checks. Requirements

• Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience with Check Runs is necessary

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices is essential

• Must have strong Data Entry skills

• Experience with Invoice Processing is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Knowledge of Sage 300 is a plus

• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
