Summary

K2United is expanding our product design department and is looking for a UX Designer to join us in designing innovative products. As a member of our team, you will join an organization renowned for its culture and national impact.

About You

You are passionate about creating exceptional experiences for your users you love finding clever solutions to common problems, and youre infuriated by poorly-designed forms and unclear error messages. You are looking for a team that is as smart and creative as you are, and youre seeking a workplace that acknowledges and values your distinctive contributions. Additionally, you:

• Possess a minimum of four years of experience designing user-friendly digital spaces
• Exhibit proficiency in design and prototyping tools, especially in Figma
• Demonstrate understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Have experience working within the Agile framework
• Are familiar with user research methodologies and usability testing
• Communicate effectively, prioritizing clarity and comprehensiveness

Your Impact

You will be at the forefront of our user-centric design efforts. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft intuitive, visually-appealing, and user-friendly digital experiences. If you are passionate about improving user journeys and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. As a UX designer at K2, you will:

• Work with the rest of the Product Design team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Conduct thorough user research to construct user personas, illustrating the desires, needs, and pain points of end users, which will serve as a guide throughout the design process
• Collaborate closely with development and testing teams, providing support as features move from design to development
• Steward the documentation of UX standards, advocating for their consistent implementation across all our products, thereby establishing a uniform and user-friendly experience

Salary

$90,000/year +

Travel

We are a "work where you work best" company (in-person, hybrid, remote). However, we value the relationships that are built during in-person get-togethers. So we pay for all employees to travel and meet with their teams a few times a year (5-7% of time).
