Gama-1 Technologies Storage System Admin in College Park, Maryland
Provide support for Netapp and IBM storage infrastructure. Also manage the SAN fabric. Storage controllers include: Controllers include: FAS 9200, FAS 8700, FAS 8080, FAS 8060, AFF 8080, FAS 2720, AFF 700, and AFF900 and IBM v5200
Task Description:
Storage Administrative activities include:
Reviewing and monitoring LUNs for usage and performance
Resolve daily issues on Storage and escalate if assistance required
Applying firmware updates as required
Troubleshoot issues on Storage controller NetApp and IBM
Must be available for 24x7 on call rotation
Resolve help desk tickets
Must be able to work with oversite to execute against a set of requirements
Required skills/Level of Experience :
Should have working knowledge of NetApp and IBM storage controllers and enclosures
Ability to identify and troubleshoot and resolve tickets opened for routine tasks.
Create or expand LUNs as requested.
