Gama-1 Technologies SME Windows System Admin in College Park, Maryland
Provide support for windows server systems running on windows 2012/2016/2019. Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM’s, deploying new VM’s and working with application teams on Middleware support. Lead team of Junior admins in resolving system issues
Task Description:
Windows Administrative activities include:
Be a Team Lead
Prioritize tasks and identify bottlenecks in the environment.
Evaluate tools and deploy in working environment.
Maintaining a stable Windows environment.
Help Junior Admins with Patching servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities
Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Windows environment
Update Ansible with automation scripts
Write Ansible scripts to optimize SA work
Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Windows environment
Manage and maintain repo server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos
Manage active Directory and DNS
Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM’s
Will serve as the systems architect for improving and optimizing the current state, and designing and building the next generation infrastructure.
Must excel at troubleshooting extremely complex problems to resolution.
Must be able to train and mentor Junior Level SAs.
Required skills/Level of Experience :
Greater than twelve (12) years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual
Must have Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent
Hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data center
Should have expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environment
Active Directory Management
VMWare ESXi
The ability to obtain a security clearance
