The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Mechanic at the power plant. Position duties include: perform a variety of skilled tasks associated with maintenance and repair of internal combustion engines, power plant machinery and equipment that includes pumps, pipes and valves. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer\'s instructions and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions. Ability to operate various equipment including diagnostic meters, programmable logic control (PLC) systems, hand and power tools, precision measuring and testing instruments, overhead cranes and hoists. Conduct preventive maintenance; perform regular testing of equipment and machinery to maintain quality assurance and high performance. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing information.
