Maintenance Technician - 2nd and 3rd Shift Available - $26-$32/HR

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds, focusing on a 60/40 split between mechanical and electrical tasks. Adhering to OSHA and ANSI safety standards, you'll ensure timely repairs, clean and lubricate machines, and execute lockout/tagout procedures.

Key Tasks:

• Troubleshoot and fix:

• Pumps, valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, and motors.

• VFDs, transformers, and electrical systems (480v, 240 single, and 3-phase).

• Run conduit and wire, and perform electrical repairs.

• Inspect, adjust, and replace defective parts.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks.

• Maintain accurate records and complete maintenance requests.

Additional Duties:

• Clean and lubricate machines.

• Test machine performance post-repair.

• Complete requisitions for maintenance supplies.

• Ensure timely repairs and perform lockout/tagout procedures.

Hard Skills

MUST HAVES:

-4+ years of industrial maintenance experience

-GED or high school diploma

-Steel toes

ELECTRICAL MUST HAVES:

-480V and 3 phase experience

-Ability to read blue prints and schematics

-Experience running conduit and wire

-Experience troubleshoot VFDs, transformers, 480v, 240 single, 3 phase

MECHANICAL MUST HAVES:

-hydraulic and pneumatic experience

-Troubleshoot pumps, valves, relief valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, chains, motors

-Experience with gears and motors

NICE TO HAVE:

-Injection molding experience

• -PLC troubleshooting

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Clyde, Ohio.
