Job Description
*Hiring caregivers in Clovis Assist individual with self-care tasks in the comfort of their own home. Caregivers may need to help with bathing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks. If the client is confined to a wheelchair or bed, the caregiver may need to assist with moving the individual. Caregiver positions can require the caregiver to assist with housework, cooking, and laundry. Caregiver may be responsible for driving client to pick up their medication in which a valid drivers is required. The caregiver may use the client's own vehicle provided the insurance and registration is current and on file with the agency. *Administering medication and offering medical assistance is not included in the job description for a caregiver. It is important to review caregiver contract to see if approval is given to remind a client to take their medication. The needs of each client are unique. Some clients may require constant care and help with all self-care tasks while other clients may be living independently and need occasional help. Caregivers jobs can vary and caregiver should make sure there is a clear understanding of the responsibilities for a specific job.
