Cleveland Clinic Biologics Coordinator in Cleveland, Ohio

The Biologics Coordinator works as a liaison between the patient, Cleveland Clinic and insurance companies to ensure a smooth process of authorization of Biologics that are critical to the patients' health and treatment.

Experience with insurance and prior authorizations preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates various department activities by facilitating analysis and reporting information.

  • Develops, maintains and distributes reports for schedules, budgets, staff , paid time off and patient information.

  • Coordinates various activities and provides customer support to internal and external customers.

  • Prepares, provides analysis and implements special studies and projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Certifications:

  • None required

Competencies (Complexity of Work):

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five years office experience.

  • Minimum five years experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects.

  • Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.25

Maximum hourly: $26.31

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
