Mississippi Employer Correctional Officer in Clarksdale, Mississippi
Participant is responsible for guarding & directing the work of inmates & may supervise other correctional officers. The position is governed by State & Federal laws & agency policy. Must have the ability to supervise inmates, write reports, read rules & regulations. Will perform security inspections of buildings and grounds & perform other public safety activities. Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory. The job site is at the varner/cummins unit. Must Bring a Valid drivers License, Social Security Card, High School Diploma/GED certificate & a DD-214 if claiming Vet Preference. Pay DOE.
