Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in City of Industry, California

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in the City of Industry, California, United States. This role involves developing and implementing HR-related plans, overseeing employee engagement surveys, maintaining organization charts, and managing employee relations among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop HR-related KPIs and implement plans to meet objectives

• Administer Employee Engagement Surveys and collaborate with employees and leaders to develop and implement initiatives for an engaging workforce

• Implement plans to assure the company remains union-free

• Partner with the Zone HR team in talent attraction and retention efforts; conduct new hire orientations and coordinate onboarding programs

• Advise and support the leadership team on developing career path, technical development, and leadership development programs

• Identify training needs for local personnel and individual leader’s coaching needs, and participate in developing, maintaining, evaluating, and monitoring training programs

• Advocate for the organization within the Zone/Global HR function and implement Zone/Global HR functional initiatives

• Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance of policies that assure a safe, equitable, and compliant work environment

• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions

• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

• Manage and resolve employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations

• Support time and attendance, payroll, and benefits administration for personnel. Requirements

• Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a Human Resources position.

• Proficiency with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Bilingual English/Spanish or Bilingual English/Mandarin

• Familiarity with Ceridian and HRMS software.

• Experience with About Time software desirable.

• Proficient in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Strong understanding of Compliance within the HR field.

• Proven track record in managing Employee Relations.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

• Relevant HR certifications would be an added advantage.
