UC HEALTH LLC Facilities Compliance Specialist, Plant Operations in CINCINNATI, Ohio

Facilities Compliance Specialist, First Shift, Plant Operations UC Health is hiring a full-time Facilities Compliance Specialist for the Plant Operations department for the first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The Plant Operations Department will support the Medical Centers and deliver high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures.   • Associates Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years equivalent experience required; 11-15 preferred.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by keeping up to date of codes and standards and verify compliance of all Joint commission related documents at all facilities owned and operated by UC Health. May develop knowledge related to NFPA, AAMI, ASHRAE, CMS, and/or HIPAA standards through training and literature.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance; training; and documentation for the joint commission environment of care standards and CMS by meeting NFPA; AAMI; ASHRAE; and/or HIPPA regulations. Provide technical support and expertise to all facilities owned and operated by CCHMC in Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, training, and documentation for the joint commission environment of care standards and CMS by meeting NFPA, AAMI, ASHRAE, and/or HIPPA regulations.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to all facilities owned and operated by UC Health in Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC.
  • May acquire and interpret maintenance data to determine operational status of plant equipment and systems at all UC Health sites.
  • Experience within a healthcare environment.
  • TJC/CMS experience and other regulatory standards.
  • Strong written skills, organizational and presentation skills.
