Job Description: Marriott International is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Nights Auditor. The Nights Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to guest service, financial transactions, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide information to guests about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Financial Transactions:
- Balance and reconcile hotel accounts, including room charges, cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
- Process and verify billing transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott's financial policies and procedures.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform night audit procedures to verify the accuracy of guest accounts and billing information.
- Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and interactions.
- Complete end-of-day procedures and prepare reports for the next day's operations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
