Aston Carter Payroll Analyst (Hybrid Position) in Chicago, Illinois

Description:

  • Data entry for payment and payroll transactions into ADP Globalview system

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies as needed and provide customer service to internal employees with questions regarding payroll

  • Support biweekly timekeeping procedures along with reconciliation and load process

  • Conduct payroll data audits of ADP

  • Oversee biweekly payroll close to support validation and reporting processes

  • Manage and oversee year-end payroll close

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders on payroll related GL transactions

  • Document procedures and workflow processes within the payroll area.

  • Archive records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements.

  • Draft standards to improve quality as well as active contribution in improving and implementing operation cycles, processes and workflows as well as the implementation of policies and procedures.

  • Maintain compliance with tax, governmental, legal payroll regulations

  • Continuous improvement of payroll processing, e.g. LOA/RTW notifications, QA checks, off-cycle payments, etc.

  • Partner with Rewards team on year-end benefits/payroll reconciliations and special pays (AAAP census, Deferred Comp bonus, Appreciation Award, ICP and Merits)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Payroll processing required

  • Experience utilizing ADP required

  • Payroll Process Improvement

Work Environment:

  • Based Downtown, Chicago.

  • Hybrid Schedule and will go into office 1-2x per week.
