JPMorgan Chase Payments Project Analyst - Senior Associate in Chicago, Illinois

Are you an experienced project manager who is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and who also has a strong understanding of Payments? You've found the right team.

As a Project Analyst on the Solutions Readiness team, you will manage simple to standard product solution change events coordinating with product managers and coverage team members on the planning, execution and adoption of change event initiatives. You should be articulate, highly organized, resourceful, and self-motivated in addition to having excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. This role will primarily support NAMR and global initiatives. The role requires understanding of products and solutions which could include key concepts such as Merchant Services, Treasury Services, digital channels, alternative payment methods and APIs across the payables, receivables, liquidity, digital and commercial card landscape.

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Payments Product leads to understand and help navigate the readiness strategy

  • Manage the Solutions Readiness process for assigned projects, coordinating with key stakeholders and internal partners across functions to ensure successful delivery of change events

  • Identify, track and drive completion of project deliverables using established tools

  • Provide project management support to assess impacts, incorporate requirements, and keep change events on track

  • Establish strong working relationships with product partners, as well as key stakeholder partners in service, implementations, marketing, legal, compliance, risk and controls among others

  • Track progress through Workfront system and assist in preparing stakeholder updates for management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in the financial services industry

  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize high volume initiatives

  • Knowledge of Payments products and solutions

  • Ability to partner and drive progress toward a common goal

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Adept at working with colleagues at all levels

  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; demonstrates respect for diversity of thought

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in change readiness, migrations, or new solution launches

  • 3+ years of Payments Experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Expertise in Microsoft applications (especially PowerPoint) and experience using project management support tools (especially Workfront)
