Elevate Care Chicago North Floor Tech in Chicago, Illinois
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team and contribute to the overall cleanliness and appearance of our facility.
Responsibilities:
Perform floor maintenance tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to maintain the cleanliness of various floor surfaces.
Inspect and identify maintenance needs, reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager.
Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with moving furniture and other items as needed during floor care activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Collaborate with other facilities team members to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Floor Tech or in a similar role.
Knowledge of various floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.
Ability to operate floor care equipment, including buffers and waxing machines.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures related to floor care.
