Director, Talent Insights and People Analytics

Location: Mason, OH. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

As the Director, Talent Insights and People Analytics , you will be responsible for overseeing data, analytics and insights related to various talent functions, including Talent Management, Enterprise Learning & Leadership Development, Organizational Development & Effectiveness, Associate Experience, Talent Acquisition and Skills-based Talent Planning. The primary objective is to identify trends and patterns to drive informed business decisions while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data. Working collaboratively with other departments to understand their talent needs and provide guidance and recommendations. Ultimately, the goal is to optimize talent utilization and performance by using data-driven insights to make informed decisions. It is critical this role forecast the future vs report the news.

How you will make an impact:

  • Oversee and lead the development and execution of talent insights analytics strategies and initiatives.

  • Design and implement data-driven solutions to support talent management, performance, organizational development, learning and associate experience.

  • Manage and analyze large sets of data to provide insights and storytelling to improve decision making.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement best practices in talent analytics and data management.

  • Leverage data to drive better outcomes for Elevance Health's talent management, learning & development, talent acquisition, and organizational development efforts.

  • Leads learning measurement design, reporting and analytics to inform training and development programs and enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Leads research studies and experiments related to employees' behavior and attitudes in the workplace. This involves designing, implementing, and analyzing research projects to understand factors influencing associate experience, engagement, leader effectiveness and team effectiveness.

  • Uses research findings to consult to develop effective HR policies, offer solutions to complex organizational problems, and, ultimately, improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Coaches and develops key business and HR partners to understand the value of and integrate human capital analytics into the way we do business, tied to direct business improvements.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BA/BS degree, 10 years related experience including 5 years of direct human capital measurement experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • MBA, Master or PhD in I/O Psychology preferred.

  • Strong leadership, analytical and communications skills strongly preferred.

  • Specific knowledge of and exposure to various human capital reporting tools; experience in strategy setting, management, continuous improvement, and working with senior leaders strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Workday preferred.
