JPMorgan Chase Digital Channels & Connectivity Product Delivery Manager - Vice President in Chicago, Illinois

As a Product Delivery Manager in Digital Channels and Connectivity, you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way. In this role, you will provide product delivery leadership to a portfolio of initiatives that support global expansion requirements on our global client-facing platforms. The position will have responsibility for managing and driving key business-aligned deliverables, utilize an established framework for channel governance and delivery execution. You will be part of a team responsible for driving new capabilities and strategic change for Digital Channels and Connectivity. You will work closely with product management, technology, client service, operations, and global & regional business partners to successfully deliver projects which enhance global as well as local-market capabilities.

The Digital Channels and Connectivity Product Delivery & Governance team is responsible for global oversight and governance of the Channel Suite of Products to uphold the highest standards safeguarding the Channels while supporting Clients' cash management needs. As guardians of the Channels, the team is a central point of contact for Platform Stability, Risk, Audit & Controls, and Channel Product Delivery. Key drivers to success are the effective management of investments, disciplines and controls used for business readiness, process and procedures, and change management plans for Product Delivery management. This includes creation of business plans, action plans, contributing to internal and external communication strategies and content.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination

  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements

  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners

  • Facilitating the delivery process for major project deliverables including Project Plan, Business and Functional Requirements, Analysis & Design (participation and sign-off), Internal and External readiness & post go-live support to clients

  • Collaborate on project management initiatives supported on global client-facing platforms, this includes managing projects on a day-to-day basis to deliver on-time and on-budget per business specifications

  • Support the development and approval of the project's business case, overseeing the project's financial approval process, managing project issues/ risks, developing contingency plans, preparing and presenting updates for executive leadership

  • Managing project life cycle phases, such as Initiation, Development (requirements, design, build, test), and Implementation (implementation and project closure)

  • Coordinate and lead "virtual team" resources located in multiple global locations

  • Managing the change control process

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area

  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities

  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes

  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies

  • 8+ years professional experience in a bank or other financial institution, consulting firm, and/ or software company; 5+ years project management experience leading complex projects

  • Possesses knowledge of electronic banking products and systems, including high and low volume payment systems (SWIFT, Money Transfer, ACH)

  • Ability to direct and manage business partners, technology resources, subject matter experts, user interface design, QA, UAT, and all other groups involved in the end-to-end process needed to define, design and deploy product capabilities

  • Demonstrates strong relationship management skills ; proven ability to quickly build trust and rapport with others in order to structure problems, build consensus, negotiate agreement with strong influencing skills

  • Possesses a strategic and critical thinking mindset; exhibits high degree of creativity, self-motivation, and commitment to task; strong communication skills with both verbal and written

  • Power user of office automation and project management tools including MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio

  • BA/BS in Management, Finance, Operations Management, IT/ Computer Science, MIS, Economics, or a related discipline
