Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Probate Paralegal. In this role, you will handle probate and trust administration cases, draft standard estate planning documents, and communicate directly with clients on sophisticated estate planning matters. You will also assist in the preparation of estate and gift tax returns and facilitate trust administration.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting standard estate planning documents including wills, trusts, financial and medical powers of attorney, deeds, etc.

• Administering decedents’ estates, including the preparation of fiduciary accountings

• Communicating directly with clients on sophisticated estate planning matters

• Assisting in the preparation of estate and gift tax returns

• Facilitating trust administration

• Demonstrating exceptional organizational and file management skills

• Displaying strong attention to detail

• Clear and concise verbal and written communications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Working knowledge and experience in probate and estate administration.

• Should have experience in Probate & Estate Administration

• Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles

• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Must respect and maintain client confidentiality

• Familiarity with legal procedures and protocols is essential.
