NJ Employer Nursery/Greenhouse Worker in Chesterfield, New Jersey
Anticipated period of employment: 02/15/2024 to 11/15/2024
All applicants must have 3 months experience. Applicants must be able to furnish affirmative job references from recent employers.
Worker will directly participate in activities related to horticulture nursery crop production such as transplanting/planting, weeding, pruning, watering, & digging. Workers may install, move or make repairs to irrigation systems. Install plastic, and hoops for greenhouses using hand tools, screws, clips, ground nails and tarps. May apply fertilizer. Workers will maintain nursery grounds, mowing, trimming and edging. May drive tractor/skid steer & attach farm implements to cultivate fields and move plants. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the job contract they may call and/or email the employer to schedule an interview Monday- Friday from 8am to 4pm.
