We are looking for a Project Manager to join the creative production team. This role serves as a project manager for creative digital design. The ideal candidate will be skilled in timelines, creating and tracking a high quantity of marketing content, quality assurance, and providing analysis about the success of projects. They will create mechanisms for and provide quality assurance checks for creative assets, ensuring copy, templates, policy and overall visual hierarchy raises the bar. The Project Manager provides ownership and accountability and sees projects through completion. The ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders is key.

Strong organization and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to offer unique creative solutions, manage/negotiate the expectations of your team, your partner teams and your clients, drive high levels of design production performance in a high-velocity/high-volume work environment, and stay in active communication with the partner creative teams and external design requestors.

Key job responsibilities

  • Resource management: resource allocation of production team given current and upcoming work.

  • Ability to scope new work and determine level of effort based on capacity

  • Establishing strong relationships with internal/external teams while managing work-streams with competing priorities. Set expectations with internal and external teams and handles prioritization for all work that comes through production team.

  • Coordinating with multiple teams from US to India, for ideation and scheduling.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring communication across time zones, organization/time management and problem solving skills

  • Ensure all stakeholders have up to date, day to day reports, project milestones and visibility to capacity.

  • Champion creative quality by creating quality assurance checks for all production work prior to finalization

  • Standardize and optimize process with checklists, lessons learned, business cases and documentation.

  • Continually work to optimize process and workflow.

We are a Shared services team that provides Amazon digital team’s flexible capacity to perform, Marketing and core operations related activities without upfront time & leadership investment of starting their own operations team and with a goal of improving the processes through optimization and standardization. We are highly placed to take tasks that are distributed across many employees, and turn them into standard work items, with SOPs, productivity measurement/improvement, and ultimately automation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology

  • Experience in program or project management
