In this role, you will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of electrical/electronic hardware and software controls for NPD projects as well as continuous improvement projects within their Electrical Engineering team. You will report to Chattanooga but will be responsible for and supporting all the locations in North America for pavers, road mills, stackers, forestry products, and more!

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed drawings for new designs and modifications to existing designs

• Designs and codes control software for new designs and modifications to existing designs

• Leads cross-functional electrical design reviews, including Design for Manufacturability

• Leads software design reviews for developed control software

• Develops the electrical and software test plans for new designs and changes to existing designs, and coordinates the testing and validation using these plans

• Communicates with Manufacturing on production issues

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or another related technical field

• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience with the following:

• Professional experience with designing electrical schematics and PCB layout/route wiring using SolidWorks or AutoCAD Electrical

• Experience with software development using C/C++, Plus 1 Guide, CoDeSys

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes

• Experience in the design and manufacture of automated equipmentI

• Experience working on heavy machinery/mobile equipment, industrialized machinery - Big plus.
