SOS International LLC Military Modernization Imagery (IMINT) Analyst in Charlottesville, Virginia

Overview

*This position is contingent upon award of contract*

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Military Modernization Imagery (IMINT) Analyst to convert imagery analysis into database input and provide assessments explaining the logic behind the imagery analysis.

Essential Job Duties

Conducts all-source analytic production by interpreting imagery including, but not limited to, visible, infrared, and radar data as well as full motion video for the identification of foreign conventional and unconventional military installations; civilian infrastructure relevant to military capabilities; weapon systems; orders of battle; military equipment and defenses; battle damage assessments; communications; humanitarian efforts.

Minimum Requirements

  • The MILIMOD IMINT analysts shall have at least one year analyzing military/DoD imagery in support of research on foreign forces and equipment. Have the demonstrated ability to convert imagery analysis into database input and provide assessments explaining the logic behind the imagery analysis.

  • Have experience briefing imagery data at IC meetings, answering RFIs from Government analysts, providing graphics of new equipment for inclusion in KEYS (Customer equipment identification site) and contributing to a wide variety of Intelligence products.

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

  • Desired Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor.

  • category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

  • Desired Education: Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
