Job Summary:

The Microsoft Power Platform Support Lead is responsible for providing technical support and guidance to the users and makers of the Power Platform within Compass Group. The Power Platform is a low-code platform that enables users to create customized solutions to meet business challenges and drive empowerment. The Power Platform Support Lead will work closely with the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) and the various Product Owner to define and implement the support process, monitor the platform usage and performance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document the support process for the Power Platform, including the roles and responsibilities of the support team, the escalation procedures, the service level agreements, and the communication channels.

  • Monitor the Power Platform usage, performance, and health, using the CoE Starter Kit and other tools, and report any anomalies or issues to the CoE and the Product Owner.

  • Provide end user support for the Power Platform, including resolving tickets, answering queries, providing guidance, and calling out issues as needed.

  • Provide technical support for the Power Platform makers, including assisting with app development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with the standards and practices defined by the CoE.

  • Collaborate with the CoE and the Product Owner to identify and implement standard processes, enhancements, and updates for the Power Platform.

  • Participate in the Power Platform training and evangelism activities, such as conducting workshops, webinars, demos, and open hours, and sharing resources and tips.

Required Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in providing technical support for Microsoft Power Platform or similar low-code platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of the Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse.

  • Experience in defining and implementing support processes, monitoring tools, and service level agreements for the Power Platform.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies is a plus.
