Overview and Essential Functions

Prince Telecom, a national leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Field Supervisor to join our team and help connect America! The Field Supervisor provides direct, day-to-day supervision and coordination for our Plant project teams.

Salary: $52,000 - $56,000 (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

What you'll do...

  • Travel between system locations to supervise activity and progress of projects.

  • Assist with the development and execution of projects and plans, supporting the organization's long-term Plant strategy.

  • Supervise day-to-day activities, project teams and project progress.

  • Establish administrative guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables.

  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and provide updates on monthly variance reports.

  • Identify and course correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve.

  • Supervise staff to ensure the organization's Plant activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

  • Manage schedules to meet installment milestones and phases.

  • Review and make changes (if necessary) to designs and correlating billing of materials to meet necessary needs for completion of property builds.

  • Monitor installation and subcontractor performance in accordance with scope of work, billing of material, and quality.

  • Monitor and prioritize multiple projects to assure completion is within appointed deadline.

  • Conduct Site Surveys/Site Walks for constructability consideration.

  • Work hand-in-hand with engineers to create cost-effective designs and billing of material.

  • Supervise in-house performance, including scheduled reviews.

  • Schedule/attend meetings with third party properties/locations (i.e Precons).

  • Report daily completion of MxU work and scheduled MxU work in a timely fashion to Project Manager.

  • QC submitted/completed work to ensure it meets scope of work standards.

  • Review Redline work prints when/if necessary.

  • Assist Project Manager/Admin with coordination of submissions to Close-Out Packages.

  • Prepare and submit status reports to customers and management

  • Maintain accurate consumption reports for materials

Qualifications

Who we are looking for…

  • Valid driver's license

  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company

  • Telecom experience (Structured Wiring, Fiber Optics, Print Reading) Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Leadership/Management experience
