Subject Matter Expert (SME)
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Navy Satellite Communication facilities and Gateway programs. This position is hybrid with a combination of days on site and telework.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides input, assistance, and resolution to tasks and issues related to Navy Satellite Communication and Gateway systems/facilities and the overall SATCOM community
Provides subject matter expertise in Operations and Maintenance for Navy SATCOM and Gateway facilities; and program management support for implementation, Integration, and logistics taskings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical training and recognized expert experience in both Commercial and DoD Telecommunications, specifically Wideband, Narrowband, and Protected Satellite Communications
Minimum of 12 years of related experience
Experience in Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training
SECURITY CLEARANCE
An active DoD SECRET security clearance is required
TRAVEL
Travel 25% - CONUS & OCONUS
