What you can look forward to as a Production Supervisor II

  • Oversight of production processes, requirements, prioritize, make decisions, and distribute machinery work orders to meet departmental and company production goals.

  • Comply and enforce the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements, IATF 16949, ISO-14001 requirements, Continuous Improvement, SAP, ZF policies and procedures.

  • Ensure safe and issue free work environment.

  • Maintain and improve production performance processes through waste reduction, problem solving and continuous improvement activity.

  • Review and approve employee timecards

  • Track and train production employees for growth and development by ensuring employees are qualified and trained for assigned position and current level qualifications.

  • Accountablefor performance management to include coaching, corrective counseling, and disciplinary actions, submitting employee step progressions, performance reviews, and any other ZF documentation relative to employee’s performance.

  • Direct production by regulating, maintenance programs.coordinating, planning, assigning, resolving problems, disciplinary action, and assuring compliance with company safety, work procedures, housekeeping, and preventive

Your Profile as a Production Supervisor II

  • 4-5+ years of related experience and Bachelors degree preferred; extensive experience will be considered in lieu of degree

  • Proven interpersonaland communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel) and knowledge

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing/operations

  • Ability to use (personally) and train individuals to use production/manufacturing equipment

  • English language competency

  • Manufacturing leadership in a team leader role and/or experience in Technician role.

  • Knowledge in Tool Setup Operations.

  • Min of 2 years Metal Work Apprenticeship experience (CNC), preferred.
