We are seeking a Construction Security Installation Project Manager to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

What you’ll do:

A New Construction Security Installation Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) is responsible for assisting

clients with the bid, award, installation and commissioning of electronic security project for new construction

projects.

Responsible for:

● Development of the Issue for Construction (IFC) security package.

● Review of bidder submittals and recommendations to the client for security package award.

● Oversight of the security vendor during the installation phase.

● Commissioning the security system installed by the security vendor.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have at least the following education and years of relevant experience:○ Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 5+ years of experience○ Master's degree in Engineering plus 3+ years of experience

Requirements:

● Recent security construction experience is a firm requirement.

● Perform PM duties on construction projects.

● Maintain operational and administrative control for construction projects in the Charleston, CS area.

● Project Management experience managing teams and monitoring multiple projects at any given time.

● Experienced in up-front project involvement with engineering firms, the client, and General Contractors.

● Proven track record of successful projects.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills.

● Strong analytical thinking to evaluate options and directions.

● Strong leadership and coaching skills.

● Can facilitate change and communicate effectively.
