The Montre program is in need of a Windows Sr. Systems Engineer that has experience in MS Windows Server 2016-2022 administration, VMWare and Citrix virtual hosting environments, Windows PowerShell scripting, Active Directory Services, VDI and NetAPP storage solutions. Applicant should be able to design and develop complex solutions without assistance from peers. Daily duties include O&M of virtual environments, designing and implementing new technologies, and mentoring more junior Administrators. Should also be able to review peers' designs and ensure solution is sound. Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate when needed. Adaptability and thinking outside the box to meet complex customer requirement is key.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Configure, Deploy, and maintain Microsoft-based servers, databases, and workstations as well as VMware and Linux server instances.

• Configure, Deploy, and maintain Citrix Virtual Desktops environments based on Windows and Server OS.

• Design and Implement new IT technologies in an operational always-on environment.

• Configure, Deploy, and maintain Auditing and monitoring tools. (Solarwinds, Splunk, AD Audit)

• Must also provide tier 2/3 support of Windows environment from a Sys Engineer perspective.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 years of prior relevant experience. Work experience can be used/combined with education

• Must have a TS/SCI with Poly to be considered

• 10 years of experience in Windows System Engineering

Preferred Experience:

• Hardware: HP Proliant, Cisco, Taclane KG-175F, Dell Servers

• Operating Systems : Windows, CentOS Linux, RedHat

• Storage: NetApp, CommVault, Backup Exec,

• Software: SQL Server, VMWare vCenter, Citrix, Trellix/Move, MS Exchange, PDQ Deploy

• Protocols: DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, TCP/IP, LDAP•SCP

• Security Protocols: SafeNet, NMAP, Rapid 7, HP WebInspect, Nessus

• Monitoring tools: Solarwinds SEM, Splunk, AD Audit

• Network Security: WSUS, PKI, SSP, Vulnerability Assessment,

• Hypervisors: VMware ESXi

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
