SAIC Action Group Officer Staff Support in CHANTILLY, Virginia
Description
SAIC is seeking an Action Group Officer who will be responsible for the execution of routine business operations and staff support for the SPO. The DAG officer needs to anticipate what needs to be done across SPO acquisition and maintenance effort to help the Program Management and improve overall SPO efficiency. This position will provide advice to program office leadership on program office governance documents, training programs, communication, management information system support and procurement, and records management plans.
Job Duties include:
Provide Front Office (FO) or SPO response to support the DAG, coordinating with the appropriate SPO subject matter experts as necessary
Track, disseminate and coordinate DAG actions assigned to FO or SPO, ensuring that appropriate products and responses are prepared and submitted on time
Provide preparation of SPO Weekly Activity Reports documenting accomplishments and upcoming events for input to the Directorate level
Maintain the action tracking process to include use of an action tracking tool and weekly report of action tracking status and statistics
Provide routine administrative support to DAG to include appointment scheduling, calendar management and attending Directorate and Enterprise meetings as DAG representatives
Participate in regularly scheduled Front Office coordination meetings with government leadership and DAG contractor staffs
Provide direct support to the SPO and Front Office CoS to include offsite planning, scheduling and execution, division level weekly meeting preparation and execution, liaison to the Director
Provide updates to the Director's Library as needed (web based and hardcopy)
Execute senior executive briefings, projects and schedules
Provide Front Other duties as specified by the customer
Qualifications
10+ years of experience
Bachelor's Degree or an additional 4 years' of related experience in lieu of.
Active TS/SCI CI Poly
Working understanding of a Program Office
Strong attention to detail
Exemplary writing and editing skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with personnel from multiple functions and at all levels of the customer organization to deliver results; strong networking, interpersonal, customer service skills, team building and problem-solving skills with an ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment
Excellent Organizational skills; ability to plan, track and maintain due dates for multiple taskers and products central to SPO business processes
