Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer with TS/SCI w/ poly to join our team! In this role you will get to work with the latest technologies and enterprise environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

Design, develop and maintain a DevSecOps framework to include deployment of Kubernetes, support of automated build CI/CD pipeline, microservice installation/configuration, and automation of security technologies (ACAS/NESSUS/Fortify/Trivy/SonarQube) into the software development lifecycle.

Integrate into new and existing customer DevSecOps cloud solutions and systems

Perform maintenance, administration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimizations of the DevSecOps framework

Promptly resolve security vulnerabilities as they become known

Provide technical support and training to project team and customer

Develop customer and team documentation of the DevSecOps framework

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Security, Information Technology or related discipline

A TS/SCI with poly is required

A minimum of 3-5 years of related development experience or specifically in a DevOps role

Experience with Linux container technologies (Docker or Podman)

Experience with Kubernetes orchestration technology

Experience within Linux and package management systems (RHEL, Rocky Linux, or equivalent)

Experience with automated configuration management tools (Helm, Ansible, or equivalent)

Expert with Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy, or equivalent)

Experience with source code repository tools (GIT, or equivalent)

Experience with build automation technologies (Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Dockerfile, Node, GitLab, or equivalent)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Experience developing in AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments

Experience with Artifact binary repository management (Nexus, Maven, NPM, Artifactory, or equivalent)

Experience with Agile development practices

Experience with distributed platforms (Kafka, Zookeeper, Hadoop, HDFS, or equivalent)

Experience with enterprise database optimization (Accumulo, PostgreSQL, or equivalent)

Experience with microservice instrumentation and visualization (Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)

Experience with virtual machines APIs (VMWare, KVM/QEMU, RHV, or equivalent)

Experience with modern authentication technologies (Oauth2, IdP, LDAPS, PKI, or equivalent)

Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Experience providing DevSecOps solutions on a closed network

Understanding of networked system services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTP, or equivalent)

Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
