About the team:

As part of our Experience Design Team, you will work directly with product designers who are focused on our product experience and our design systems team who are creating components that are used in our product solutions. We have a collaborative approach to problem-solving with our partners in the organization, ensuring that user experience is at the core of our product development.

About the role:

As a UX Designer, you will create product experiences that are grounded in Dice's overall strategy. You will work with a team to bring brilliance and inspiration to the entire organization.

In the short term you will:

Understand design systems and interaction patterns to ensure visual and interactive alignment across products, platforms and experiences Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to shape our future strategy and roadmaps Partner with Research to identify user needs and translate business goals into product opportunities

In the long term you will:

Work cross-functionally to define problems and outcomes, experience maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI artifacts to test and launch new products and services Define the evolution of the Dice product experience for all of our personas Oversee initiatives from insight to strategy, to launch across all platforms and devices Develop and launch high quality work that advances the Dice mission Identify new opportunities to delight our audience with product experience Lead discovery, conducting user testing and user interviews to discover unmet client needs

What you bring to the team:

A love of design and a passion for creating experiences that solve problems Confidence when designing and presenting work while being humble in accepting feedback and direction An understanding that design is so much more than a veneer; the ability to think and work strategically and conceptually

Required:

Proven experience of product design for software, web, and native apps experience Demonstrated ability to help a team navigate ambiguity, set vision and strategy for our products, capable of collaboratively contributing to product vision and roadmap Experience working with a design system and design systems team making complex information, tools and services easily digestible for your audience Proficient in Figma In-depth knowledge of user experience design processes and methodologies across desktop, mobile and native applications Ability to test prototypes with the love of seeing prototypes transform into products that customers want and love to use Portfolio of your work as part of our application process

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Experience and/or equivalent work experience Design process focused on WCAG AA accessibility standards
