Xavier High School Facilities Director in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES *This is a full time, twelve month administrative and supervisory position, responsible for the supervision maintenance, cleaning, and repairs for all buildings and grounds of all Xavier Catholic Schools. The position reports to the President. *SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:**
- Necessary credentials through appropriate educational background and experience
- Demonstrate aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned responsibilities
- Practicing Catholic preferred
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: *Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.*
Organize, supervise and direct all Xavier Catholic Schools (XCS) staff engaged in maintaining and cleaning all buildings and grounds utilized by XCS. Additionally, any necessary repair for equipment, machinery and distribution lines.
Perform regular inspections of all buildings, grounds and equipment
Through the Facilities Committee, apprise the Board and President regarding estimated costs and repairs
Schedule and assign all custodial and maintenance work within all XCS facilities.
