Responsibility Statements

• Manage and maintain our Linux server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers, including CentOS, Red Hat, and Ubuntu.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Linux-based solutions to meet business needs.

• Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades in a timely manner.

• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and implement proactive measures to optimize performance and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including server failures and application errors.

• Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.

• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in Linux administration.

• Helps maintain and update documentation.

• Administers onsite and remote assistance.

• Participates in planning, daily meetings, and backlogs sessions.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
