Merchandising Consultants Associates Part Time Retail Sales Representative in Castlegar, British Columbia

THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about sales? This is the perfect opportunity to leverage your sales expertise! As a Sales Representative at MCA, you will travel to a variety of retail stores in Castlegar, BC and surrounding areas such as Grand Forks, Trail, and Nelson, BC throughout the week. This is a temporary contract starting immediately with an anticipated end date of December 31st, 2024. You can expect to work approximately 24 hours per week between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving positive sales results by completing the following tasks:
Utilizing relationship selling techniques and providing best-in-class customer service.
Identifying opportunities to add value during each store visit and securing secondary display space.
Monitoring stock levels and ensuring inventory aligns with customer needs.
Preparing and submitting daily reports, complete with photo uploads.
Following weekly visit schedule of 10+ retail stores
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking ambitious, results-driven individuals who thrive in competitive environments. Our ideal candidate is passionate about sales, detail-oriented, and adept at working independently. As a successful Sales Representative, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and adaptability in an ever-changing environment. You must also be based out of Castlegar, BC and be comfortable traveling to different locations throughout the week.
Previous consumer packaged goods sales experience is essential
A confident and persistent personality that drives success is essential.
A Valid drivers license with access to an ensured vehicle is essential.
A proven ability in using smartphones and tablets is essential
A natural ability to build and maintain relationships with clients is an asset.
1 to 3 years of sales experience with a strong knowledge of sales techniques is preferred.
