MISO Energy Engineering Test Automation Lead in Carmel, Indiana
Location: Carmel, IN or Eagan, MN

As the Engineering Test Automation Lead , you will play a critical role in the delivery of MISO’s market and reliability products. You will collaborate closely with Operations Support Engineering and Engineering Tech Integration team managers to ensure timely and efficient product deployment. Your strategic vision will drive the development and execution of our 5-year roadmap, aiming for faster product deployment, an improved automated test suite, and reduced post-deployment risk.
In one year as a Engineering Test Automation Lead, you will know you were successful if:.
Worked with Operations Support & Engineering and Engineering Tech Integration team managers to develop new and enhance existing market and reliability products.
Oversaw software vendor release planning and budget spend, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
Established and monitored departmental goals aligned with strategic objectives, ensuring individual employee goals are in sync with departmental and corporate objectives.
Developed a short term and long-term vision for the Engineering Test Automation team.
A well-defined plan for DART system Integration and End-to-End regression testing
Automated DART database engine integration testing
A fully staffed Engineering Test Automation team
We are looking for energetic and dedicated employees who have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
5-12 years technical experience, 2-5 years management
5-7 years experience working with MISO EMS or DART systems required
We would also prefer candidates with the following:
Strong budgeting and forecasting abilities.
In-depth understanding of MISO DART and EMS systems.
Knowledge of NERC, FERC regulatory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in administering various computer platforms (UNIX, Windows, LINUX).
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
