POSITION OVERVIEW AITC is seeking a Logistics Analyst - Senior to oversee, coordinate, and manage freight, supply, and production logistics to maximize efficiency for the network enterprise. Evaluates and identifies methods and procedures to optimize and streamline production processes. RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES *Performs logistic support functions. *Must be familiar with the principles of purchasing, handling, accounting, control and transportation of material and other property. *Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution. *Works independently. Performs tasks in support of logistics projects. *Develops, upgrades, and improves systems for tracking and reporting material, material handling procedures and scheduling. *Additional duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *Requires 7+ years of practical field experience performing aforementioned responsibilities/duties *High School Diploma or GED *ITIL Foundations within 6 months. *SECRET Clearance *Must be a US citizen. *Able to work Overtime as required. *Must be available to travel as required. *Demonstrated experience: oProficiency in computer databases, statistic applications and logistics programs oExperience in data mining, analysis and reporting oWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems oFamiliarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management) PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE *Associate degree in a related field *Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations *Demonstrated experience in logistical support for IT operations *Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude *Strong attention to detail *Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written) *Excellent interpersonal skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS *Predominantly indoors in a normal office environment *Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach *Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English *May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time *Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions *Must have visual acuity *Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds COMPENSATION Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience, expertise, education, and potential.
