Description:

Looking for apprentice and journeyman carpenters for work in the Canmore/Banff Area (Unticketed carps with proper qualifications will be considered as well) the ideal candidate would have 2+ years experience in renovations and would be hired to work on the exterior building envelope on unoccupied multi-family buildings or commercial buildings in Canmore Alberta. Tasks can range from framing to finishing carpentry (including installation of windows and doors/door hardware, siding and deck railings). Candidates may be required to assist in light demolition (no asbestos) and labour duties such as site clean-up and material moving/loading as well.

Work Environment

Will work on a variety of commercial projects - primary projects right now are new multi-family residentials and new condos/commercial buildings.

Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, OT is likely to start during summer

PPE Required: Gloves, hard hat, STWB

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• min. 6 months carpentry experience in a construction setting

• ability to get to site --> sites are transit accessible, but being late as a result of transit will not be tolerated

• Must have your own pouch with basic tools

• Must have a proven track record of reliability and excellent attendance

• Open to working OT when required
