The Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from ILS Specialist to support, plan, and deliver assignments for a Defence Client. The main focus of this role will be to conduct sanitisation and disposal of ICT assets via updates to MILIS.

Duties that may be performed include but not limited to:

  • Supporting Defence Units with the daily management of ICT Equipment.

  • Coordinating with supervisors, colleagues and stakeholders, and responding to moderately complex enquiries.

  • Maintaining accurate inventory stock holding information through timely activity recording, product cycle counting, and periodic stock take processes and for all inventories including Contractor Managed Commonwealth Assets (CMCA).

  • Management of quarantine, sanitisation and disposal activities.

    Required Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • MILIS Qualifications and experience

  • Previous experience working in a warehousing environment

  • Experience and understanding of the Cataloguing and Codification of Materials within the Defence or Defence Support Environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.

  • Experience working with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) or supporting ADF logistic operations.

  • Competent with Microsoft Office product suite

  • NV1 security clearance is essential for this role
