Development Manager (Americas Tax Technology Group) (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Cambridge, MA.

Develop and test technology solutions created to support the Americas Tax Practice. Assess ideas brought by tax professionals to determine whether there is a commercially viable business case for use of AI or Blockchain technologies. Ensure adoption and compliance with established Reference Architecture standards and policies. Partner with Development Leads and Architects in the creation of architecture artifacts for Innovation and Emerging Technologies products, including Infrastructure Architecture Documents and Solution Design Documents. Responsible for producing technical documentation/diagrams that depict the larger ecosystem of products. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience converting business and technical requirements into appropriate solutions.

Must have 4 years of experience with Solutions Architecture, Systems design, Programming/software development, Innovation, Emerging technology monitoring, Business domain knowledge, and Usability evaluation.

Must have 4 years of expertise with .NET, SQL, Scripting language (Angular, Python, ReactJS, or JavaScript), or responsive web design.

Must have 4 years of experience supporting peer teams such as infrastructure, operations, enterprise architecture, and/or information security.

Must have 4 years of experience working through all phases of the technology life-cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing.

Must have 4 years of experience working in a virtual team environment with internal or external clients.

Domestic travel required up to 10%, to serve client needs.
