Location: London or Cambridge - Hybrid (3 days at the office, 2 days remote)

The job

As the Senior Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the Security Department, supporting Leadership to monitor and manage team objectives, ensuring operational alignment and efficiency. The role will analyse operational data across all areas of Security and develop materials for Leadership oversight to support decision-making and interventions.

Key r esponsibilities

  • Analyse operational data across all areas of Security and develop materials for Leadership oversight to support decision-making and interventions,

  • Support the hiring processes across Security to align with operational goals, identifying constraints across geographies to ensure harmonisation across the department.

  • Support engagement with internal and external stakeholders in a variety of security related matters.

  • Support the Security Leadership by taking on ad hoc initiatives that require immediate attention and swift resolution.

  • Serving as the point of reference for problem solving, providing solutions and support to overcome hurdles at high speed.

  • Representing the SVP or Leadership team (or other members of the team) where appropriate.

  • Helping the SVP Digital Security and Security Leadership team maximise efficiency and facilitate rapid decision-making.

  • Support the wider team withpreparationof materials during budget planning and throughout the Calendar Year to support financial governance across Security.

  • Ensuring that the SVP is well prepared for meetings, conferences, preparing materials and papers across all disciplines of Security.

  • Ensure the effective and efficient running of Security Leadership meetings, including the production of agenda, minutes, and action logs, ensuring any actions are distributed and actioned following the meeting.

  • To function as the first point of contact for enquiries and correspondence relating to the SVP Digital Security with a view to managing, delegating, and ensuring tasks are completed by the most appropriate person.

  • To undertake a wide range of research tasks to support the SVP Digital Security and wider Security Leaders in their role, in particular the preparation of briefing notes and presentations.

  • To contribute proactively to the general running of the senior leadership team, performing other ad hoc duties as requested, and providing support as required.

Ideal experience

  • Experience of working with Data and the production of data-driven materials to inform decision making.

  • An effective communicator, with the ability to act as an ambassador for Security with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence peers and seniors on matters concerning all areas of security. 

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and deliver to tight timescales. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 

  • Possesses a professional and confident manner and always maintains confidentiality. 

  • A highly motivated and driven individual who adopts a flexible and adaptable approach.
