Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center which uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. With a capacity of 208 students, we strive to achieve excellence for each student across 8 different trades.

We are looking for an exceptional Human Resources Coordinator to join our incredible team of professionals.

The Human Resources Coordinator reports to Center Monday through Friday 8a-5p

Human Resources Coordinator Responsibilities Include:The primary goal of our Human Resources Coordinators is to provide administrative and technical support to the Center’s Human Resources department.

  • Performs all aspects of administrative support for recruiting. This includes posting vacant positions, searching for qualified candidates and assisting, reviews applicants to ensure they meet minimum requirements and have necessary qualifications.

  • Conducts necessary background checks and pre-employment screening for new hires.

  • Prepares and processes all new hire paperwork and on-boarding.

  • Maintains employment files.

  • Assists department managers with developing staff training and orientation programs.

  • Assists staff with benefits enrollment. This includes distributing information on benefit programs (health, dental, life, disability, 401k, etc.) to employees.

  • Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.

Qualifications

Human Resources Coordinator Qualifications Include:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of two years human resources experience required.
