Eaton Corporation Shipper Receiver in Calgary, Alberta

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS CA division is currently seeking a Shipper Receiver.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, this position is responsible for all duties related to shipping, preparing shipping documentation for outbound shipments, arranging/scheduling additional transportation for all outbound materials and ensure customer product is delivered to the correct location.

This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total), which are located across Canada and comprise of smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.

In this function you will be responsible for:

• Loading outbound shipments using Forklift in the container

• Preparing Shipping documentation and wrapping and strapping of outbound shipments

• Packing of shortage parts that needs to be shipped on Express shipments and preparing documentation accordingly in the Forwarder Portal

• Participate in cycle counting during Quarterly PI count, ensuring accurate count.

• Supporting the Receiving Team in absence of Receiving Team member

• Handle internal inquiries and provide assistance in locating materials.

• Provide input and recommendations to improve effectiveness of work area.

• Utilize numerous functions of Oracle on daily basis to fulfill warehouse responsibilities.

• Effectively dispose of scrap material.

• Maintain Daily 5S responsibilities.

• Work from written or verbal instructions from Supervisor, system generated picking documents and established work routines.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.

  • No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80 kilometers of Calgary, AB to be considered.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.

  • 2-year experience with Shipping

  • Valid Forklift License

  • Should have Computer skills like Excel, Word, etc

  • Experience with any ERP system, ideally Oracle

  • Experience using Fork trucks, hand trucks, weigh-counting scales, storage bins and racks, ladders, packing carts, stretch wrapper, pallets, and bar code scanner.
