Microsoft WWE Platform team delivers the cutting-edge infrastructure for Microsoft search and feeds experience. The Team needs a strong Product manager to lead the future of the largest distributed computing & AI platform at Microsoft. As a Senior Product Manager of the WWE Platform, you will be responsible driving innovation and building the platform that delivers a high-quality search results and web recommendations to 100s of millions of daily active users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality search to Bing and Office users which can serve billions of queries a month in milliseconds.

  • Process complex AI and machine learning algorithms over petabytes of data including deep neural networks.

  • Make personalized News, Web, image, and video recommendations to millions of users, globally.

  • Empower hundreds of scientists to quickly and safely experiment and continually improve the product.

  • Build Platform products that are consumed by internal engineering teams to deliver end to end scenarios

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BS on Computer Science, Math or equivalent

  • 5+ years of industry experience in distributed systems

Experience with and strong understanding in many of the following areas:

  • Experience in building and running large scale cloud systems and products.

  • Experience in building and managing scalable search indexes.

  • Knowledge of Containers, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes

  • Understand scaling challenges with open-source technologies like HDFS, Spark & Kafka.

  • Experience in UI design and building customer loving products
