Technology Expert Labs - Systems' consultants perform IT infrastructure services for clients on site, helping them solve business challenges, gain new skills and discover best practices. Expert Lab has a global presence and can deploy its consultants around the world.

  • As a Storage Consultant, the role involves providing specialised storage services around the world. The Expert Labs specialist is a highly skilled expert with a deep knowledge of IBM's Storage Software portfolio and hardware products

  • The Expert Labs consultant assume overall technical responsibility for the success of solution construction, implementation and system integration in a technology, industry or business specialty

  • You deliver new and complex high-quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements

  • You have deep skill and strong hands-on skills in ONE or MORE of the following subject matter areas: Enterprise Storage, IBM DS8000, IBM Flash System Products, SAN Networking and Tape products, Spectrum Protect, Spectrum Scale

  • Exposure to Containers and Kubernetes technology

  • Should be ready to travel (once or twice a month)

Your Role and Responsibilities

Overview: As an IBM OpenPages Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and implementing IBM OpenPages solutions for risk management, compliance, and governance within an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of IBM OpenPages software, risk management principles, regulatory compliance requirements, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and configure IBM OpenPages software according to the organization's risk management and compliance needs.

  2. Design and develop custom solutions within IBM OpenPages to address specific risk and compliance challenges.

  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and create implementation plans.

  4. Customize workflows, dashboards, and reports within IBM OpenPages to support risk assessment, control testing, and regulatory reporting.

  5. Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide training and support to end users.

  6. Monitor and maintain the performance and functionality of IBM OpenPages applications, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

  7. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to risk management and compliance.

  8. Work closely with IT teams to integrate IBM OpenPages with other systems and applications as needed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in risk management or compliance are a plus.

  • Proven experience implementing and configuring IBM OpenPages software in enterprise environments.

  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, such as COSO, ISO 31000, or NIST.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), GDPR, HIPAA, or Basel III.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Java, XML, and other programming languages used in IBM OpenPages customization.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
