Today, we are recruiting for a Delivery Team Support Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Lead overall Siemens Mobility site progress track progress and coordinate the project partners.

• Collect weekly, and monthly progress figures (actual quantities, dates, etc.) with other LOTs.

• Prepare, update, and share regular progress reports with dashboards with S-curves (weekly & monthly)

• Monitor project progress against an established baseline.

• Develop, maintain, and report an updated view of the project.

• Proactively drive communication with the project’s partners and other departments in the company to produce weekly & monthly updates.

• Compile the monthly site progress report as input for the overall monthly project progress report for the employer.

• Assist the Project Delivery Director, Line Project Manager & Delivery team in day-to-day activities to take off workload and to gain a comprehensive view of the project.

• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, milestones, and timelines.

• Track project progress and update relevant managers regularly.

• Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and conference calls, including preparing agendas and meeting minutes.

• Organize and maintain project-related data and files for easy access and retrieval on SharePoint.

• Generate and maintain project-related documents, including project plans, status reports, and presentations.

• Compile data and prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and performance.

• Assist in preparing post-project evaluations and lessons learned documents.

• Manage project-related communication and ensure timely responses to inquiries.

• Assist in contractual and commercial correspondences.

• Implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members.

• Act as a liaison between project managers and team members, ensuring everyone is well-informed and aligned with project goals.

• Assist in data collection and analysis for project evaluation and decision-making.

• Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.

• Identify potential risks and issues and report them to the Consortium Site Manager promptly.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any equivalent field.

• Prior experience in project management and/or project controls

• Proficiency in using project management tools and software.

• Proficient in Site Progress & Overall Project reporting

• Ability to work on the Project Mobilization Sites of the High-Speed Rail Project in Egypt and willingness to travel and work from various sites.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Fluency in both writing and spoken English.
