MMT Project Manager in C, Ireland

Overview of role: • Become part of a multidisciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions, with focus on driving projects to completion • To lead and implement engineering development projects, especially those related to design, build and test of automation equipment • Be responsible for planning and enabling project activities within our engineering and production teams • A great opportunity to develop a project management career and support the company in ambitious expansion plans Main Tasks: • Responsibility for project management and implementation of projects • Managing the engineering and production activities across a range of projects • Drive projects to successful completion through proactive and comprehensive leadership • Setting priorities and following up on actions with the other team members • Ensure team members have availability and the tools and .to deliver to succeed and escalate issues to management • Respond to project requests and ensure timely delivery of activities with the required personnel • Interacting with and supporting customers throughout an entire project life cycle • Report on the status of projects, leading to objective review of project performance and revenue recognition • Maintain live and accurate project information in our Enterprise Resource Planning software system • Produce project schedules and maintain with live information • Build relationships key stakeholders within the business and customer and supply chain organizations • Manage customer expectations and maintain clear and relevant communications and organize and host customer meetings and events as required • Manage risks and issues within projects, escalating key concerns. Keep a risk register and drive down issues with proactive management • Anticipate issues and set plans to minimize the effect • Manage change control in association with approval process • Support to improvement processes and authoring processes • Update key stakeholders in Operations, Accounts, and Finance through weekly status updates Experience: • Experience in delivery of engineering services or products essential • Demonstrable project management experience essential, training or qualification preferred • Ability to write technical documentation e.g. proposals, quotations to a high standard and in a regulated industry preferred • Experience in working to a structured project management system preferred • Experience of working to an accredited Quality System preferred • Familiarity with industrial automation and medical device sectors would be an advantage Qualifications: • A Level 7 minimum qualification in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent experience preferred Requirements: • Excellent communication skills • Proactive and energetic approach • Confident and persuasive manner • Strong organizational skills • Inquisitive nature and logical thinking to support best project outcomes • A quality minded outlook and a problem-solving attitude • Needs to work well in a multifunctional team • Clean Driving License and passport Reporting to: Operational Excellence Manager
