Philips Product Industrialization Engineer (m/w/d) in Böblingen, Germany

In this role, you have the opportunity,

to play a decisive role in shaping the introduction of new medical products into production as part of the Product Industrialization team.

Your role:

  • Leading product launches into production, this includes e.g.

  • Representing production and supply chain issues in the development project

  • Planning and executing the industrialization project in the team

  • Creation of project documentation in the area of product industrialization (concept, process design, requirements)

  • Creation, documentation and validation of production processes in collaboration with the specialist departments

You are part of the

Product Industrialization Team, which is directly responsible for the introduction of new products from development into production and the supply chain and therefore has a direct influence on the quality of the products and the efficiency of the processes. The work is strongly characterized by cross-functional working methods in a project environment. This includes representing the manufacturing interests in the development project, as well as transferring the design output into the production process, quality and business systems.

You are the right fit if:

  • Experience in an industrial project environment or in product development

  • Ideally an expert in production processes in a highly regulated environment

  • Technical or natural science degree

  • Analytical and logical thinking skills

  • Very Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Independent and responsible way of working

  • Good MS Office skills

  • Beneficial

  • Experience as a production/process engineer in medical technology or comparable regulated environment such as automotive

  • Experience in the development, verification and documentation of process flows

  • Knowledge of problem solving techniques and process improvement measures

  • Good knowledge of German and English
