Role Definition

Manages credit verification and processing for commercial loan applications to minimize risks, in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manages credit investigation activities, including credit analysis, evaluation and the rating of customers.

• Leads in financial analysis and risk assessment on accounts; supports the underwriting team on the structure

and items in loan packages.

• Oversees existing workflow, finds opportunities to reduce cost and risks, and implements process

improvements while adhering to related policies and procedures.

• Monitors negative credit trends and adverse signs in existing account quality; recommends preventive actions and presents to the team

Loan Origination: Knowledge of the skills, methods and technologies used to process new loan applications; ability to perform loan origination activities while adhering to established policies and procedures.

• Provides solutions to develop and improve new loan products.

• Oversees credit review processes to ensure the accuracy of risk rating and repayment capacity.

• Communicates with the IT department on loan origination system enhancements.

• Monitors all loan service related local laws and regulations; frequently updates internal policies.

• Consults on loan origination accelerator solutions.

• Monitors and resolves abnormal situations and difficult problems in loan origination processes.

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Applies principles used to evaluate the economics of investment decisions.

• Interprets major types of financial statements issued by the organization.

• Utilizes basic qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques with proficiency.

• Works with a specific financial analysis tool set.

• Implements valid financial analysis aligned with key criteria.
